From Lebanon, to Syria, to Israel and beyond, our Arabic Meze Passion class is filled with colourful, textured and flavour filled dishes from the region. With its abundance of healthy ingredients used in its cuisine, Arabic and Middle Eastern food has become extremely popular especially as it caters so well for everyone including meat lovers and vegetarians alike.

Class Menu

(Israel) Jerusalem Bagels – Handmade baked bagels perfect for enjoying Middle Eastern dips.

Whipped Hummus – A wonderfully creamy hummus, decorated with roasted chickpeas.

(Syria) Muhummura (Roasted Red Capsicum & Walnut Dip) – Chargrilled red capsicum with toasted walnuts and pomegranate molasses.

(Israel) Chargrilled Eggplant with Tahini Dressing – Chargrilled eggplant served with a Tahini Dressing and decorated with pomegranate.

(Lebanon) Sheesh Tawook (Chargrilled Marinated Chicken Kebabs) – Spiced chicken skewers marinated in yoghurt, garlic & lemon marinade then chargrilled over charcoal..

(Lebanon) Riz Bi Sha’riyeh (Lebanese Rice) – Long grain rice steamed with crispy vermicelli.

Knafeh (Middle Eastern Sweet Cheese Pie) – A dessert I enjoyed in the UK, that had my head spinning with its look and textures. A Middle Eastern classic dessert of shredded filo and filled with a semolina custard and soft cheese then drizzled with rosewater or orange blossom syrup.
