In this class we will show you how family “classics” from butterflied herb-roasted chicken; oven-baked crumbed snapper fillets; crispy crackled Chinese-style pork belly and “crisp & chewy” chocolate chip cookies can be transformed into fun, flavour-packed and exciting street food creations with a few simple variations and a little creativity.

Designed to cater for a generation of time-starved and hungry foodies who appreciate great food and diverse flavour choices, this class will bring some exciting “food truck” dishes to your own kitchen.

The “Food Truck” phenomenon has gained a huge following over the past few years, with some statistics saying that more than 2.5 billion people eat street food from a food truck every day! And why shouldn’t it. Today’s Food Truck offerings tick all the boxes for satisfying the tastebuds for people of all ages, diets and food preferences! Roll On!!


Hello Nico, Thank you for the Food Truck Passion class.  I had brought my friend Tracey along being for her birthday present and we had a fantastic night. Sui Mai (Pork & Prawn Steamed Dumplings)* – handmade steamed pork & prawn dumplings with a spicy soy dipping sauce.

Vietnamese Chicken Banh Mi Rolls*transformed from a “classic” butterflied roast chicken – Learn how easy it is to butterfly a whole chicken and then roast it with Vietnamese flavours of lemongrass, chilli & ginger, before transforming it into a classic Vietnamese Banh Mi with pate, pickled carrots and fresh coriander on a crispy French baguette.

Crispy Pork Belly Bao Buns*transformed from a “classic” Chinese Sui Yuk (Roasted Pork Belly) – We will show you the techniques for the perfect crispy Chinese Pork Belly before transforming it into steamed Bao Buns filled with pork, pickled vegetable and Hoi Sin sauce.

Crunchy Baja Fish Tacos with Corn & Black Bean Salsa (GF)transformed from “classic” crispy oven-baked Crumbed Snapper Fillets – a healthy oven-baked version of crispy coated snapper fillets transformed into the Californian classic soft Baja fish taco with Corn & Black Bean Salsa and Spiced Habanero Mayo.

Chipwich Ice Cream Sandwichtransformed from a “classic” Crisp & Chewy Chocolate Chip cookie – everyone’s favourite, chocolate chip cookies sandwiched between luscious vanilla icecream.
